Weibull Toolbox
System requirements: Windows 10 or higher on PC.
Weibull Toobox ™ is a statistical tool used to analyze and model the failure or survival characteristics of a product or system over time. It is often used in the field of reliability engineering, where the goal is to understand how and why products fail so that improvements can be made to increase their reliability and reduce the likelihood of failure.
Weibull Toobox ™ consists of the following modules:
Life Data Analysis (LDA):
Data is collected on the time to failure (or survival time) of a product or system under different conditions. This data is then analyzed using statistical models to estimate the probability of failure or survival over time, as well as the mean time to failure (MTTF) and other metrics related to reliability.
Features:
- Supports complete, right censored (suspended) and interval censored data-type
- Includes major lifetime distributions (Weibull, the Exponential, Lognormal and Normal)
- Includes Rank Regression and MLE analysis methods
- Supports Fisher Matrix and Likelihood Radio Confidence Bounds methods
- Includes Calculator dialog for user to query common reliability question for a given analysis
Recurring Data Analysis (RDA):
Recurring Data Analysis can be used to estimate the probability of failure of a repairable system over a given time period, as well as the expected number of failures and the expected time to failure. These estimates can be used to optimize maintenance schedules and improve system reliability. RDA is widely used in a variety of areas, including oil&gas, defense, automotive and renewable energy industries.
Features:
- Power Law or Crow-AMSAA (NHPP) models for repairable system analysis
- Support Single System, Multiple Systems and Group Interval Data
- Optimum overhaul time for a given repair cost and overhaul cost
- Calculate Conditional reliability, MTBF or failure intensity for a given time
- Calculate Expected number of failures for a given time
- Includes Calculator dialog for user to query common reliability question for a given analysis
Accelerated Life Test Analysis (ALTA):
The goal of ALTA is to accelerate the aging process of the product or system by subjecting it to higher levels of stress than it would typically experience in normal use, and then analyzing the resulting failure data to make predictions about its performance and reliability over its expected lifespan.
Features:
- Supports complete, right censored (suspended) and interval censored data-type
- Supports Weibull and Lognormal distributions
- Supports up to 3 simultaneous constant stresses
- Supports Arrhenius, Inverse-Power-Law and Exponential life-stress-models
- Includes Calculator dialog for user to query common reliability question for a given analysis
Reliability Block Diagram (RBD):
A Reliability Block Diagram (RBD) is a graphical representation used in reliability engineering to illustrate the reliability of a complex system or product. The RBD is used to show how various components or subsystems of a system are interconnected and how they contribute to the overall reliability of a (non-repairable) system.
Features:
- Support Series, Parallel, K-out-of-N, Combined and Complex configurations
- Provide analytical solution for a system reliability
- Include Calculator dialog for user to query common reliability metrices
- Provide Reliability Importance plot
