Design for Reliability (DfR)

Design for Reliability (DfR) refers to the process of designing reliability into products as opposed to the Test-Analyze-and-Fix philosophy, which unfortunately still exists in today’s design process. As a result of this, reliability must be designed into products and processes using the best available science-based methods.
